The UBC Okanagan campus opened its doors in September 2005 on what was formerly the North Kelowna campus of Okanagan University College.

Vancouver Point Grey campus
UBC's first Vancouver campus opened its doors for classes in 1915. UBC opened its current Vancouver campus at the western tip of the Point Grey Peninsula in 1925.

Great Northern Way
In 2001 Finning International Inc. donated land, located at the False Creek flats, to UBC and Simon Fraser University, the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, and the British Columbia Institute of Technology, now known as the Great Northern Way Campus.

Health and Wellness
Wellbeing and Accessibility Services
Formerly named Student Wellness, the Wellbeing and Accessibility Services directorate offers a full range of services to students to promote their wellbeing and accommodation needs. Students can have their health and wellbeing concerns assessed and treated by a professional health care team of physicians, nurse practitioner, nurses, and counsellors; participate in creating a more healthy and sustainable campus community, access resources for current health topics, courses, projects, and health-related research. Speak with a disability services advisor about academic accommodations and find a moment of quiet reflection in the Spiritual and Multifaith Space.

Student Health Clinic
The nurse practitioner, physicians, and nurses work closely with other members of the team to provide support to UBCO students and work closely with Okanagan community resources to provide referrals off-campus as needed. A full range of services are available to students at UBC Okanagan. All services are confidential.

Student Counselling Services
UBC Okanagan offers a stepped care counselling model to best support our student population. Counsellors work with students to assess needs, equip students with resources and provide individual counselling or referrals where required to assist students with personal or emotional concerns that may impact their success at UBCO.

Campus Wellness and Education
Campus Wellness and Education offers innovative, research-backed programs to help address the social determinants of student health. Students can find opportunities to build a healthy and sustainable campus community, access resources for health-related courses or projects, or participate in health-related research, speak with harm-reduction nurses on drug use, grab a healthy snack from Picnic, and learn skills to promote their wellbeing.

Spiritual and Multifaith Services
UBCO's Spiritual and Multifaith Space is available to all students, staff, and faculty for medication, contemplation, and prayer. Chaplains are spiritual leaders from diverse faith perspectives and are available to support students in their spiritual journey and considerations of some of life's bigger questions.

Indigenous Programs and Services
Indigenous Programs and Services offers services from the time of application to graduation for First Nation, Métis and Inuit students. Services include academic advising, along with peer mentoring and peer tutoring. Programming includes orientation and transition as well as opportunities for experiential learning and social and cultural events.

Global Engagement Office
The Global Engagement Office includes international student advising, intercultural and international programming, Go Global and the Visiting International Research Student (VIRS) program. International Student Advisors provide students with assistance on a range of healthcare, immigration, transitional, and employment policy related concerns, while Go Global allows students the opportunity to study abroad or do research at one of over 180 partner universities in more than 50 countries. Two-to six-week Global Seminars taught by UBC professors during the summer term, as well as incoming exchange programs are also available as a part of Go Global.
Library
The UBC Okanagan Campus Library offers information and research services to students, faculty, and community users. Collections include books, journals, films, online databases, and regional special collections. Specialized spaces include the Innovation Library, located at the Kelowna Branch of the Okanagan Regional Library, the Inclusive Technology Lab, makerspace UBCO, Special Collections & Archives located in the Commons and the Centre for Scholarly Communication located on the 2nd floor of the Library. Other onsite amenities include student computers and printers, silent reading rooms, individual study carrels, instruction and presentation spaces, collaborative work spaces, bookable study rooms, and a branch of the Okanagan Regional Library.

Student Learning Hub
The Student Learning Hub (LIB237) offers free learning supports and resources for undergraduate students from all disciplines and year levels. Services include peer tutoring in various subjects, writing consultations, language tutoring, Academic Integrity support, English Language Development support, and Supplemental Learning, as well as help with learning strategies and study skills from the Learning Strategists.

Ombudsperson for Students
The UBC Office of the Ombudsperson for Students is an independent, impartial and confidential resource to support students in addressing and resolving concerns about unfair treatment at UBC. The Ombudsperson also works at the systemic level to advocate for fairness for the benefit of all students and the university community as a whole.
