Student Housing & Community Services: Summer Session Term 2-only residents move-in.

Start of Summer Session Term 2 for most faculties. First day of classes for term running from July 6 to August 13 (exams August 17 to August 21 inclusive).

Summer Session Term 2: Tuition fees due. Students who have not paid their fees are placed on financial hold; further registration activity is not permitted, grades are not released, and graduation diplomas are withheld. Students are assessed a processing fee of $35 and interest is assessed on the outstanding balance until it is paid in full (see Fees).

Summer Session Term 2 courses: Last day for change in registration and for withdrawal from most Summer Session Term 2 courses without withdrawal standing of W recorded on a student's academic record. Workday is open for course withdrawals with a W standing. Check course section details in Workday to verify specific dates for each course.

Summer Session full-session courses (Terms 1 and 2): Last day for withdrawal from most Summer Session full-session courses (Terms 1 and 2) with withdrawal standing of W recorded on a student's academic record. Check course section details in Workday to verify specific dates for each course.

Students who are planning to apply for the Winter Bursary should apply for government student loans for the Winter Session by this date. It is recommended that students apply for loans as early as possible in order to have funding in place for the beginning of the Winter Session. For more information see the UBC Bursary Program.
