The Faculty of Management offers a 4-year undergraduate program leading to the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.).

The Bachelor of Commerce degree provides substantial flexibility for students to complete a variety of concentrations and minors, the possibility of combining the B.Com. with a Master of Management degree, and the option of completing a series of integrated work-learning terms via the Interdisciplinary Co-Operation Education (Co-op) program.

The first two years of the B.Com. are devoted to learning the fundamentals of business issues, principles, and practices while building the pre-requisites for later years. A breadth and variety of business topics are covered in a set of required courses. For a list of required courses, see Degree Requirements.

In the third and fourth years of the B.Com., students may complete a concentration by selecting a set of integrated courses in a focused area. A complete list of Concentrations and the specific requirements can be found here.

Throughout the program, students can carefully select courses from other Faculties to complete a minor in a complementary subject. Students are advised to plan early in the B.Com. program if they want to complete a Minor. A list of available Minors can be found here.

Students can also select to complete the Dual-Degree Master of Management in combination with the B.Com. This combined degree program allows students to complete both degrees in as little as four- and one-half years.  More information on the Dual-Degree Master of Management is available here.

Students can choose to apply to the Interdisciplinary Co-operative Education program (Co-op). Co-op provides interested and qualified students in the B.Com. program with paid work opportunities that will help students excel academically and professionally while preparing them for their future careers. More information on the Co-op program is available here.

Students may contact the Faculty of Management for more details about the degree program.
