Please refer to the Okanagan School of Education website for information about the application procedure for the Bachelor of Education program (Okanagan campus).
Grade 12 Applicants
There is no direct admission to the Okanagan School of Education from Grade 12. Students applying from Grade 12 must first complete another degree program to meet the Bachelor of Education academic admission requirements (e.g., B.A., B.F.A., B.Sc.).
French Language Competency Assessment
Applicants to either the Teaching Children or Teaching Adolescent pathways who wish to have practicum experience in French Immersion classrooms will be required to complete a French language competency assessment prior to beginning the program.
The French language competency assessment consists of oral and written components. The purpose of the test is to verify French language competency, identify problematic linguistic areas, and support students in their professional endeavors. Please refer to the Okanagan School of Education website for more information regarding the French language competency assessment.
Criminal Record Check
A criminal record check will be required of all B.Ed. students admitted to the Bachelor of Education program.
